Goethe Benefit Endurance Ride 25/50
December 16, 2023
Over the years, this ride has been managed by Susan Kasemeyer, Pat Thomas, Helen Koehler, and Jo Harder.
Come share the fun!
Ride Manager: Jo Harder
Host: Helen Koehler
Timer: Carol Thompson and Nancy Gooch
Vets: Todd Holbrook, Kristi Fox, and Art King
Trails: Jeanette Henderson
Photographer: Maria Phillips
All proceeds from this event will be donated to Goethe State Forest.
Donations are encouraged!
Bring your old fleece horse sheets (holes and broken buckles are fine!) as a donation to the Williston Animal Group (WAG) at check-in and be entered in a raffle for a pair of Setzi aluminum stirrups.
The fleece sheets will help keep the rescue dogs warm on cold winter nights. Thank you!
By participating in the trail cleanup day on Saturday, December 9th, you'll not only contribute to our lovely forest, but you'll also get a $10 discount on your registration. The trail cleanup event is at the Tidewater trailhead on CR-337 at 8:30 AM sharp, and you'll be doing about 4 hours of tree trimming, trailhead maintenance, affixing permanent markers, and who knows what else. Bring gloves and loppers.
If you don't live near Black Prong trailhead, you can still participate by donating a half day of your time to local trail maintenance. Just bring a note from a state or local ranger that details what you did and where.
